Poems and Photographs

Arthur Robert Goshin

Each of these books are really two separate books, one poetry, one photography. Since all of the photographs are actually reflections taken off of either the surface of water or a distressed metal surface please see the About section for more information. Also, go to the About section for more background about the poetry.

Three Book  Compilation Set  (2021)

When the pandemic began in 2020 it seemed like a perfect time to begin a long intended project. Namely, to review all of my poems, select the ones I’d like to share again, and group them by topic. These three books are the result. I have also included many of my photos, so these are really poetry/photography books.

The poems include the topics of identity, aging, writing, social commentary, and time. All of the photos are of the direct surfaces of water.

The poems include the topics of memory, children/grandchildren, parents/grandparents, death/dying, and Holocaust/faith. The photos of structures and landscapes are reflections off of the surface of a metal plate that I use. The third group of photos are window reflections.

The poems include the topics of musings, and love. The photos of the flowers are all reflections off of the metal plate that I use.
